Secrets to Successful Dog Training
Over the years there have been schools on how to train dogs. Positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, dominance training, so on and so forth. One of the reasons most dog training methods do not work is that they do not take into consideration that a dog is being trained. Most dog owners treat there dogs or any pet like a human child. They dress it up and talk to it like a child. The dog is not happy because it wants to be a dog not a child. Dogs have natural tendencies and behaviors that most dog owners do not like. Barking, digging, running, nipping, biting, etc. These are things that dogs do in the natural dog world. The secret to successful dog training is to correct the unwanted behavior the way dogs do it in the dog world. Dogs do not hit other dogs with newspapers, or rub other dogs noses in their messes, so we should do the same either.

Important Tip #2
When you see your dog in the act of doing something ‘bad’, never use the recall word “Come”, or other word you choose to get your dog to discipline, correct, or tell him what a bad dog he is or for any negative reason. You have to go to the dog, and correct the behavior as he is doing it. The secret to successful dog training is if you bring the dog to you he will not associate what he did to why he is being disciplined.
